Leadership  First Presbyterian Church is governed by a session composed of ruling and teaching elders. The session meets quarterly through the year and oversees the life and ministry of the congregation. We are currently working to build our session from within the congregation. Those who have an interest in serving will first undergo an introduction to the work of the session and training for ordination (if not already ordained in another congregation). Should all go well, the candidate will be placed before the congregation for their approval, and then installed into office. Ordination to office in the church is limited to mature men who are well-grounded in the reformed faith. |
