First Presbyterian Church
Celebrates 100 Years of Ministry
From Bethel Mennonite Church to First Presbyterian Church,
it's been quite a journey!
On October 23, 2011, we celebrated the 100th Anniversary of our ministry to the Pennridge Community at our church building located at the corner of 5th and Race Streets.
Pastor MacLaren is pictured above on the morning of the celebration standing outside the front of the church. Mr. Larry Handy took the photograph.

These pictures of the church building show that over the years a number of changes
have been made to the building and grounds. Most notably is the original design of the
front door with its arch and window, along with the "fortress" tower above it. It is
unfortunate that those features have been lost over time.
